After a few months of quietly working behind the scenes, I can officially announce my involvement with the team at Venn Digital and I greatly look forward to working with their highly energised, talented and committed team.
In the summer of 2020, I resigned from my role as CEO of Kingfisher Beer Europe and I was determined to find a new challenge that could bring something different to the UK Drinks marketplace. I am thrilled to be working with the organisation in the role of Commercial Director across the Vennture proposition.
Brian and his Venn Leadership team have spent 7 years creating and fine-tuning the Vennture software which can unquestionably step change and enhance the B2B experience for both Brand Owners and Wholesalers. Our ambition for 2021 is to introduce the software and forge partnerships with a blend of clients within the food and beverage sector to unlock value for all parties.
During my time at Kingfisher, I observed first hand the challenges a brand owner faces during the order capture process and the administrative burden this creates. Unquestionably a digital ordering process provides opportunities to upsell and introduce new products, it unlocks manhours and creates a 24/7 ordering window to the benefit of all.
It isn’t just brand owners who will benefit from the Vennture software, arguably wholesalers have equal if note more to gain from advancements in eCommerce. With the average wholesaler selling 5,000 SKUs the need to automate ordering to reduce picking errors and speed up the process is to the benefit of everyone.
